This evolving project merges traditional documentary approaches, such as cataloging and collecting, with experimental techniques to delve into the vibrant world of contemporary witchcraft, specifically the feminist tradition of Reclaiming. Established in the 1980s within the fertile ground of Northern California, Reclaiming offers a unique path for individuals seeking personal empowerment, social justice, and a profound connection with the natural world. This inclusive tradition welcomes all who resonate with its core values, fostering a transformative journey of self-discovery. "Woven in Power," aims to dismantle preconceived notions about witchcraft and ignite a deeper understanding of this dynamic and evolving practice.

The "Threads of Empowerment" series, meticulously crafted into a unique artist book, celebrates the hands of Reclaiming practitioners. These hands, imbued with potent energy, serve as conduits for creation, healing, and the very essence of magic. Juxtaposed against a stark black backdrop, each hand tells a unique story, a testament to the diverse paths leading to self-discovery and empowerment that lie at the heart of Reclaiming. The starkness amplifies the hands themselves, inviting viewers to contemplate their intricate details and the narratives they silently hold.

The "Embers of Empowerment" series utilizes the evocative power of long-exposure photography to capture rituals unfolding at a secluded Northern Californian witch camp. Bathed in the warm glow of a crackling bonfire, these images illuminate the essence of community and the profound connection that binds this tradition together. The long exposures create a sense of mystery, blurring figures ever so slightly and emphasizing the transformative magic that unfolds during these sacred gatherings.
